Supporting people with inner ear balance problems in Newcastle & the North East of England
We are a patient run support group who meet on a Saturday, four times a year.
We try to have two face to face sessions and two online meetings.
We were established in November 2008 and were set up by the Freeman Hospital and its patients.
We are here to help and support people in the North-East of England who suffer from common balance problems.
We get together to discuss and hear stories from other people who have similar inner ear balance problems.
Guest speakers are invited to help us understand and develop our balance system.
We encourage any proactive activities from the group that may help to strengthen our balance, knowledge and wellbeing.
We look forward to seeing you at our next meeting!
NEWS: The group have donated money to The Meniere's Society, in memory of vestibular specialist Prof Linda Luxon. Linda not only spoke at one of our balance days but helped so many of our members with her expertise and positivity. She is greatly missed.
